| 2.1 | Drill plastic spot welds (2). | If the door handle (1) has been plastics welded. Observe drilling and cutting depth. Otherwise the armrest (5) or door handle (1) can be damaged by drilling through. Use spot facer, M4 according to DIN 373 with head diameter 8 mm and pin diameter 3.3 mm. Cordless drill/screwdriver If plastic flowed into the plastic spot welds (2) during welding, ↓ ream the plastic spot welds (2) with a drill bit with 3.5 mm diameter. |

| 2.2 | Remove screws from plastic spot welds (2). | If the door handle (1) has been screwed on. | |
| 3 | Remove door handle (1). | ||
| Install | |||
| 4 | Place door handle (1) as shown on figure and carefully position on armrest (5). | Ensure that the contact surfaces (A) are correctly covered by the door handle (1) and that the armrest material does not get moved or kinked. Otherwise, damage to the surface material will occur. |

| 5 | Screw the door handle (1) to the armrest (5) at the plastic spot welds (2). | ||
