| 1 | Remove rear seat cushion. | AR91.12-P-1021MFA | |
| 2 | Unclip ISOFIX/LATCH child seat anchor (3). | ||
| 3 | Turn over rear seat cushion and lay down on suitable mat. | ||
| 4 | Unclip fastening clips (1) and place shackle to one side. | ||
| 5 | Remove foam part (2). | Model 118, 177, 247 | |
| 6.1 | Unscrew nuts (4) from side airbag and pull out side airbag until electrical connector is accessible. | Model 118, 177, 247 with code 293 (Side Airbag in rear left and right) |

| 6.2 | Remove side impact airbag in rear passenger compartment. | Model 243.7 with code 293 (Side Airbag in rear left and right) |

| 7 | Starting from the underside, cut upholstery staples (5) using a suitable tool and remove remaining pieces from foam part (2). | Fig 1 | |
| 8 | Detach seat cover clamp strips (6) from side airbag frame all the way round and pull seat cover out of side airbag frame. | ||
| 9 | Lift seat cover until upper upholstery staples (7) are visible. | ||
| 10 | Cut upper upholstery staples (7) one after another and remove remaining pieces from foam part (2). | Fig 1 | |
| 11 | Remove cover from rear seat cushion cover. | ||
| 12 | Install in the reverse order. |
