Remove/Install Tire Pressure Sensor - AR40.15-P-0081MFA

REMOVING Remove     
1 Detach corresponding tire.   AR40.10-P-1030MFA 
2 Remove valve nut (2) from valve body (3).    
3 Remove tire pressure sensor (A69/1, A69/2, A69/3, A69/4) with valve body (3) from disk wheel.    
4 Remove seal (4) and support ring (5) from valve body (3).    
5 Push out valve body (3) from tire pressure sensor (A69/1, A69/2, A69/3, A69/4). If tire pressure sensor (A69/1, A69/2, A69/3, A69/4) is reused.  
CLEAN Clean     
6 Clean tire pressure sensor (A69/1, A69/2, A69/3, A69/4) using a clean, lint-free cloth. NOTES
Do not use compressed air, solvents or cleaners.
Otherwise damage can occur to the tire pressure sensor (A69/1, A69/2, A69/3, A69/4).
IMPORTANT The tire pressure sensor (A69/1, A69/2, A69/3, A69/4) can also be reused after the TIREFIT tire repair kit has been used. If there is residue remaining on the diaphragm opening after cleaning,

Replace tire pressure sensor (A69/1, A69/2, A69/3, A69/4).		  
7 Clean disk wheel in the area of the valve bore.    
INSTALLING Install     
8 Replace valve body (3) and valve element (6). If tire pressure sensor (A69/1, A69/2, A69/3, A69/4) is reused.
IMPORTANT Insert the square of the valve body (3) into the guide on the tire pressure sensor (A69/1, A69/2, A69/3, A69/4) so that this is fixed in position.		  
9 Attach support ring (5) and seal (4) to valve body (3). IMPORTANT The centering cone on the hoist ring (5) must sit correctly in the contour of the tire pressure sensor (A69/1, A69/2, A69/3, A69/4).
IMPORTANT Observe installation position (arrow).		  
10 Insert valve body (3) with freely moving tire pressure sensor (A69/1, A69/2, A69/3, A69/4) from inside to outside into valve bore of disk wheel.    
11 Tighten valve nut (2) on valve body (3). IMPORTANT When tightening the valve nut (2), press the tire pressure sensor (A69/1, A69/2, A69/3, A69/4) lightly into the drop center and in the direction of the valve bore of the disk wheel.  
    TORQUE SPECIFICATION Valve nut to valve body for tire pressure sensor *BA40.15-P-1001-01L 
12 Mount tire.   AR40.10-P-1030MFA
