Remove/Install Rear Brake Control Cable - Ar42.20-D-0525TSB

Shown on left side of vehicle 

	Risk of death  caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform.	Align vehicle between vehicle lift columns and position the four support plates at the vehicle lift support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer.	AS00.00-Z-0010-01A

	Remove/install
1	Raise vehicle.		AR00.60-D-1000-04TS
	Special instructions for lifting and supporting vehicle		AH00.60-N-0100-01TS
2	Remove respective brake cable (1) from brake compensator lever.		AR42.20-D-0520-06TS
3	Expose brake cable (1) to electric lines (7).	Detach cable ties (5). The number of electric lines (7) and the cable ties (5) can vary. Installation  : Replace cable ties (5).
4	Remove bolts (3) and remove cover (2).
5	Remove safety clip (6).
6	Remove brake cable (1) from brake cable lock (8).
7	Remove brake cable (1) from crossmember (4).	To do so, unclip brake cable (1). Sleeve	Fig 1
8	Remove brake cable (1).	Installation  : Route brake cable (1) free of tension and chafing. Otherwise brake cable (1) may be damaged. To do so, route brake cable (1) out of holders (arrows).
9	Install in the reverse order
10	Adjust parking brake.		AR42.20-D-0540TS
