	Risk of death  caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform.	Align vehicle between vehicle lift columns and position the four support plates at the vehicle lift support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer.	AS00.00-Z-0010-01A

	Remove/install
1	Remove brake cable (1) from hand-operated parking brake lever.	Do not disconnect electrical connections.	AR42.20-D-0506TS
2	Raise vehicle.		AR00.60-D-1000-04TS
	Special instructions for lifting and supporting vehicle		AH00.60-N-0100-01TS
3	Remove underbody paneling.	If installed.	AR61.30-D-1001TS
4	Lower fuel tank (5).
5	Remove feed-through grommet (4).	Check feed-through grommet (4) for damage. If corresponding findings are present, ↓ Replace brake cable (1).
6	Unclip brake cable (1) from holder (6).
7	Unhook brake cable (1) from brake compensator lever (2).
8	Release brake cable (1) from crossmember (3).	Model 907 Sleeve	Fig 1
9	Remove brake cable (1).	To do so, guide brake cable (1) out of vehicle interior and out of crossmembers (3a). Installation  : Lift floor covering in area of the guide-through of the brake cable (1).
10	Install in the reverse order
11	Adjust parking brake.		AR42.20-D-0540TS
