	Remove/install
1	Remove heat shield (5) of exhaust gas turbocharger.	Do not install upper engine cover until after the leak test.	AR09.40-P-6044MNP
2	Expose electric line; unclip, release and disconnect electrical connector (4).
3	Remove the oxygen sensor on the left downstream of the catalytic converter (G3/5).	Coat thread with heat-resistant lubricating paste. Oxygen sensor downstream of catalytic converter to exhaust system at front	*BA14.00-P-1002-02B

4	Cover the tip of the oxygen sensor on the left downstream of the catalytic converter (G3/5) with a protective cover.	When reusing oxygen sensor on left after catalytic converter (G3/5). Set of protective covers	Fig 2
5	Seal threaded hole of left lambda sensor downstream of catalytic converter (G3/5) with suitable stop plug.	Record plug	Fig 4
6	Install in the reverse order.
	Check
	Risk of burn injuries , suffocation and poisoning when working on the exhaust system and the components connected to it. Risk of suffocation and risk of poisoning caused by inhalation of gaseous and solid components of the exhaust. Risk of poisoning caused by skin contact with solid components of the exhaust.	Wear protective clothing and safety glasses. Use the extraction system. Move people out of the danger zone.	AS49.00-Z-0001-01A
	Risk of accident from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running.	Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts.	AS00.00-Z-0005-01A
7	Perform engine test run. While doing so, check engine for proper operation and leak tightness.
