| Remove/install | |||
| 1 | Work the seal on the side window (1) of the rear door loose. | AR72.12-P-0001ME | |
| 2 | Remove grommet (2). | ||
| 3 | Connect the electrical connectors on the rear door trim. | ||
| 4 | Bring the side window (1) into position so that the retaining lug (3) is accessible through the opening of the grommet (2). | ||
| 5 | Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmitter range (min. 2 m). | ||
| 6 | Release and disconnect electrical connectors from the door trim of the rear door and bring door trim out of the working area. | ||
| 7 | Release roller sun blind until the inner sealing rail (4) is accessible. | Model 167 with code 297 (Roller sun blinds in rear doors |

| 8 | Actuate retaining lug (3) and remove side window (1) upward. | ||
| 9 | Install in the reverse order. |
