| Remove/install | |||
| 1 | Remove left or right outer sealing rail. | AR72.10-P-1700ME | |
| 2 | Remove grommets (2). | ||
| 3 | Bring the side window (1) into position, so that the retaining lugs (3) are accessible through the openings of the grommets (2). | ||
| 4 | Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmitter range (min. 2 m). | ||
| 5 | Release and disconnect electrical connectors from the door trim of the front door and bring door trim out of the working area. | ||
| 6 | Remove inner sealing rail (4). | ||
| 7 | Remove window guide seal (5) up to mirror triangle. | ||
| Lubricant, rubber assembly 1 L | *BR00.45-Z-1010-06A | ||
| 8 | Actuate retaining lugs (3) and remove side window (1) upward. | ||
| 9 | Install in the reverse order. |
