| 1 | Release left or right side window of the rear door, push into the uppermost position, and secure using suitable means. | AR67.30-P-0006ME | |
| 2 | Clamp off ground line of on-board electrical system battery (G1). | AR54.10-P-0003ME | |
| 3 | Remove outside door handle from rear door. | AR72.12-P-2410ME | |
| 4 | Remove screws (2) and unhook bearing bracket (3) from the door. | ||

| 6 | Release and disconnect electrical connectors from the electrical wiring harness (5) and/remove from the door module (1). | ||
| 7 | Remove grommet (6) from the door module (1). | ||

| 9 | Remove bolts (8). | ||
| 10 | Carefully lift door module (1) until the electrical connectors on the door lock are accessible. | Do not crush or kink or subject lines to tension This will result in damage to the lines which may impair their functional capability. |

| 11 | Release and disconnect electrical connectors from the door lock. | ||
| 12 | Guide wiring harness (5) through the door module (1), remove door module (1) and set down on a suitable base. | Do not crush or kink or subject lines to tension This will result in damage to the lines which may impair their functional capability. |

| 13 | Install in the reverse order. |
