Remove/Install Liftgate Hinge - AR72.20-P-2656MEC

	Remove
1	Loosen roof lining and lower it until the screws (3) are accessible.		AR68.30-P-4300MEC
		Do not remove the windshield.
2	Support tailgate.	Support	Fig 2
3	Mark installation position of left or right hinge (4) on roof frame and liftgate.
4	Remove screws (2) from the liftgate.	Only remove hinges (4) individually, with liftgate (1) installed and support attached . If both hinges (4) are to be removed, the second hinge (4) should only be removed after installing the first hinge (4). Otherwise, the liftgate may be damaged. Helper required.
5	Unscrew screws (3) from roof frame and remove hinge (4)	Helper required.
	Install
6	Align hinge (4) with the installation marking on the roof frame and tighten screws (3).	Helper required.
		Bolt/nut, hinge for liftgate to body	*BA72.20-P-1008-02J
7	Tighten screws (2) on the liftgate.	Helper required.
		Bolt, hinge to liftgate	*BA72.20-P-1005-02J
8	Remove support (1).
	Check
9	Check gap dimension on liftgate.		AR60.00-P-0900-01ME
		Sidewall to liftgate	*BE60.00-P-1013-01LA
		Liftgate to rear bumper	*BE60.00-P-1016-01LA
		Outside of taillamp to inside of taillamp	*BE60.00-P-1018-01LA
		Liftgate to roof	*BE60.00-P-1025-01LA
		Feeler gauge	Fig 1
		If there is a problem, ↓ Adjust trunk lid.

10	Repair paintwork damage at all open screw connections using a touch-up paint pen.
11	Attach roof lining.		AR68.30-P-4300MEC
