| 1 | Fully lower front door side window (1). | ||
| 2 | Clamp off ground line of on-board electrical system battery (G1). | AR54.10-P-0003ME | |
| 3 | Mask off fender (2) and front door (1) from the center to the top edge in the area of the A-pillar with fabric tape. | ||
| 4 | Release and disconnect front door electrical connector from the body. | ||
| 5 | Remove covers (5). | ||
| 6 | Remove screws (6, 7) of the hinges (8, 9). | Repair paint damage in the area of the screws (6, 7). |

| 7 | Remove front door (1) from the hinge leaves and set down on a suitable base. | Carefully remove front door (1) and insert. Otherwise paint damage can occur. |

| 8 | Install in the reverse order. | ||
