	Remove/install
1	Detach ground line of on-board electrical system battery.		AR54.10-P-0003MFA
2	Remove lower instrument panel trim on driver's side.		AR68.10-P-1501MFA
3	Unscrew screws (2) and remove driver knee airbag (1) far enough until electrical connector (3) is accessible.	Do not crush or kink or subject electric lines to tension. This will result in damage to the electric lines and can impair their function.
		Bolt, knee airbag to crossmember below instrument panel	*BA91.60-P-1006-01Q
4	Release and disconnect electrical connector (3) from driver knee airbag squib (R12/25).	Removal lever	Fig 2
5	Remove driver knee airbag (1) and place on a suitable surface.
6	Install in the reverse order.
	Check
7	Check Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) using vehicle diagnosis system.	When replacing the driver knee airbag (1).
