	Remove
1	Remove A-pillar trim on front passenger side.

2	Remove vehicle interior fuse and relay module (F152/4).
		Do not release electrical connectors on rear side.	AR54.15-P-1312MFA
3	Remove upper B-pillar trim on front passenger side and place to one side with attached seat belt.

4	Remove grab handles from roof on front passenger side.

5	Remove trim from C-pillar on front passenger side and place to one side with seat belt attached.

6	Remove overhead control panel control unit (N70).

	Install
7	Retrofit mount of front dashcam (1).	When pressing on, ensure that the pressure is applied directly on the adhesive point. The maximum adhesive strength is only reached after approx. 72 h at 20°C. During the first hour avoid the application of any mechanical load. Otherwise adhesion problems may occur.	AZ54.71-P-0001-00LWE

8	Retrofit mount of rear dashcam (2).	When pressing on, ensure that the pressure is applied directly on the adhesive point. The maximum adhesive strength is only reached after approx. 72 h at 20°C. 9	Remove cover of rain and light sensor with additional function (B38/2).

10	Remove sun visor on front passenger side.

11	Remove holder from driver's side sun visor.

12	Detach front and rear edge guard on front passenger side in area of roof lining.
13	Release front and rear roof lining on front passenger side.
14	Remove upper liftgate trim.

	Install
15	Retrofit wiring harness for dashcam.	Vehicles with code 409 (Front left and right multicontour seat) with code U22 (Lumbar support adjustment)	AZ54.71-P-0001-01MFX

16	Latch dashcam at front (1) into dashcam mount opposite direction of arrow on eject button.	Installation of the front dashcam (1) should take place, at the earliest, an hour after gluing on the dashcam mount. Otherwise, the dashcam mount may work its way loose.
17	Latch dashcam at rear (2) into dashcam mount opposite direction of arrow on eject button.	Installation of the rear dashcam (2) should take place, at the earliest, an hour after gluing on the dashcam mount. Otherwise, the dashcam mount may work its way loose.

19	Install remaining parts.
	Update Vehicle Documentation (VeDoc)
20	Attach "Mercedes-Benz front and rear dashcam retrofitted as per AZ54.71-P-0001MFX" note under field organization texts to DG 54, DG 67 and DG 68.
	Check
21	Perform function test.	See Owner's Manual.
