| 1 | Remove the coolant expansion reservoir and place to one side with lines attached. | Do not crush or kink or subject lines to tension. This will result in damage to the lines which may impair their functional capability. |

| 2 | Remove filler neck (2). | ||
| 3 | Remove front right wheel and tire assembly. | AR40.10-P-1102MFA | |
| 4 | Remove right front fender liner. | AR88.10-P-1301MFA | |
| 5 | Release, disconnect and remove electrical connector (5) from holder. | ||
| 6 | Release and disconnect washer fluid hoses (7) at connections (3). | ||
| 7 | Remove nut (4). | ||
| 8.1 | Remove screw (6). | Model 118, 177 with engine 139 | |
| 8.2 | Remove nut (6). | Model 247.7 with engine 139 | |
| 9 | Remove washer fluid reservoir (1). | ||
| 10 | Remove windshield washer system pump (M5/1) with washer fluid hoses (7). | If the washer fluid reservoir (1) is replaced. | AR82.35-P-6002MFA |
| 11 | Release and disconnect electrical connector from windshield washer system fluid level indicator switch (S42) and remove electrical wiring harness from washer fluid reservoir (1). | If the washer fluid reservoir (1) is replaced. | |
| 12 | Install in the reverse order. | ||
| 13 | Correct fluid level of windshield washer system. | ||
