	Remove/install
1	Remove upper engine cover.	Engine 177 in model 167
		Do not install upper engine cover until after the leak test.	AP01.10-P-2405-01E
2	Remove left air filter housing.	Engine 176 in model 167 Do not install upper engine cover until after the leak test.	AR09.10-P-1151MNO
3	Remove right air filter housing.	Engine 176 in model 167	AR09.10-P-1152MNO
4	Remove heat shield (5) of exhaust gas turbocharger.	Bolt, upper heat shield to bracket/side heat shield	*BA09.40-P-1006-01ZA
		Bolt, rear heat shield to bracket	*BA09.40-P-1008-01ZA
5	Unclip electrical line of lambda sensor on right after catalytic converter (G3/6).
6	Unclip, release and disconnect electrical connector (4).
7	Remove lambda sensor on right downstream of catalytic converter (G3/6).	Coat thread with heat-resistant lubricating paste. Oxygen sensor upstream of catalytic converter to exhaust system at front	*BA14.00-P-1001-02B
		Paste, hot lubrication 1 kg, DBL 6879.20	*BR00.45-Z-1005-06A

8	Cover sensor tip of lambda sensor on right downstream of catalytic converter (G3/6) with protective cover.	When reusing lambda sensor on right after catalytic converter (G3/6). Set of protective covers	Fig 2
9	Seal threaded hole of right lambda sensor downstream of catalytic converter (G3/6) with suitable stop plug.	Record plug	Fig 4
10	Install in the reverse order.
	Check
	Risk of burn injuries  , suffocation and poisoning when working on the exhaust system and the components connected to it. Risk of suffocation and risk of poisoning caused by inhalation of gaseous and solid components of the exhaust. Risk of poisoning  caused by skin contact with solid components of the exhaust.	Wear protective clothing and safety glasses. Use the extraction system. Move people out of the danger zone.	AS49.00-Z-0001-01A
	Risk of accident  from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury  (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running.	Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts.	AS00.00-Z-0005-01A
11	Perform engine test run. While doing so, check engine for proper operation and leak tightness.
