Remove/Install Tire Pressure Sensor - Ar40.15-D-0081TS

Model 907 

with code RY2 (tire pressure monitoring at FA and RA, wireless)

REMOVING Remove     
1 Detach tire NOTES
Do not exert any force on the tire pressure sensor (7).
The tire pressure sensor (7) will be damaged otherwise.		 AR40.10-D-1030TS 
2 Unscrew corresponding union nut (2a, 2b) from valve stem (4). IMPORTANT Replace corresponding union nut (2a, 2b).  
3 Remove tire pressure sensor (7) with valve stem (4)    
4 Unscrew valve protection cap (1) When reusing the tire pressure sensor (7).  
5 Remove sealing ring (5) When reusing the tire pressure sensor (7).  
6 Remove valve seat (6) When reusing the tire pressure sensor (7).  
7 Detach valve stem (4) from tire pressure sensor (7) When reusing the tire pressure sensor (7).  
CLEAN Clean     
8 Clean tire pressure sensor (7) When reusing the tire pressure sensor (7).
NOTES
Only remove dirt with a clean, lint-free cloth. Do not use solvent, cleaner and compressed air.
Otherwise malfunctions or damage may occur.
IMPORTANT The tire pressure sensor (7) can no longer be used after applying the TIREFIT tire sealant.		  
9 Clean the disk wheel in the area of the valve bore    
INSTALLING Install     
10 Insert new valve stem (4) in tire pressure sensor (7) When reusing the tire pressure sensor (7).
IMPORTANT Ensure correct positioning of valve stem (4).		  
11 Install valve seat (6) When reusing the tire pressure sensor (7).
IMPORTANT Markings (arrows) on valve seat (6) and tire pressure sensor (7) must be opposite one other.		  
12 Install sealing ring (5), as shown When reusing the tire pressure sensor (7).
IMPORTANT Pay attention to installation position.		  
13 Screw valve element (3) into valve stem (4) When reusing the tire pressure sensor (7).
TORQUE SPECIFICATION Valve element in valve stem		 *BA40.15-N-1002-02TS 
14 Screw on valve protection cap (1) When reusing the tire pressure sensor (7).  
15 Insert valve stem (4) into valve hole    
16 Hold tire pressure sensor (7) and screw respective new union nut (2a, 2b) onto valve stem (4)
Notes on self-locking nuts and bolts		 NOTES
Do not counterhold valve stem (4) when tightening the respective union nut (2a, 2b) in any case.
Otherwise the valve stem (4) is not screwed on correctly and the tire pressure sensor (7) will get damaged when driving.		 AH00.00-N-0001-01A
    TORQUE SPECIFICATION Union nut to valve body for tire pressure sensor *BA40.15-N-1001-02TS 
17 Mount tire NOTES
The lever arm of the tire mounting device must lie 180° away from the tire pressure sensor (7).
Otherwise, the tire pressure sensor (7) will be damaged.		 AR40.10-D-1030TS
