General
The MB Advanced Control control unit (N175) has two interfaces for battery management units:
- LIN interface
- I/O interface
LIN interface
The MBAC can monitor the state of charge of the secondary battery for each battery management unit. To do so, a battery management unit must be connected to MBAC over the LIN interface.
The MBAC can read out the voltage of the secondary battery with a specific accuracy in volt for each battery management unit. To do so, a battery management unit must be connected to MBAC over the LIN interface.
I/O interface
The MBAC can read out the state of a 12 V charger (active or inactive). To do so, a 12 V charger must be connected to the "DI_Battery_Management_12V_Charger" interface and be controllable.
The MBAC can read out the state of a solar system (active or inactive). To do so, a solar system must be connected to the "DI_Battery_Management_Solar System" interface and be controllable.
The MBAC can read out the status of an alternator (active or inactive).
To do so, an alternator must be connected to the "DI_Battery_Management_Alternator" interface and be controllable.
The MBAC can read out the voltage of a secondary battery in a range between 2 threshold values in volts and with a specific accuracy. To do so, a secondary battery must be connected to the "AI_Battery_Voltage" interface and be controllable.
The MBAC can read out the current flow difference in a secondary battery in a range between 2 threshold values in amps and with a specific accuracy. To do so, a secondary battery must be connected to the "AI_Current_Flow_Difference" interface and be controllable.
