General 

The digital outputs are used to set digital signals (0 or 1).

The MB Advanced Control control unit (N175) consists of two stages, MBAC Stage I and MBAC Stage II. The MBAC is designed to enable configuration of the assignment of the I/O interfaces. The assignment of the I/O interfaces is configured by the body manufacturer.

The MBAC can operate up to 29 digital outputs. Along with the 29 digital outputs, a further output exists for the wake-up signal of the parameterizable special module (PSM) ("Multi-Purpose module", "MPM"). The MBAC can operate 14 further pulse width modulated outputs.

Each stage has exactly one digital output "DO_Roof_Ventilator_Switch".

Each stage has exactly one digital output "DO_Roof_Hot_Water_Switch".

Each stage has exactly one digital output "DO_Roof_Heating_Switch".

Each stage has exactly one digital output "DO_Wake_MPM".

MBAC Stage I has exactly one digital output "DO_Pairing-Reset_LED_Switch".

PWM-compatible digital outputs 

General 

PWM outputs are used, e.g. to dim a light or to control the speed of simple motors. The MBAC can operate up to 14 PWM outputs. The PWM outputs switch to the high side (terminal 30). All PWM outputs together provide a maximum output of 200 watts. The frequency of the PWM is 200 Hz with a tolerance of +10 %. The PWM "duty cycle" can be changed in steps of 0.1 % with a tolerance of +5 %.
