	Remove
1	Remove front floor covering on driver side
			AR68.20-P-2050LC
2	Remove side trim from instrument panel on driver's side
3	Detach driver-side fuse and relay module (K40/6)	Do not disconnect electrical leads.
4	Remove outer door sills at front left and right and remove any adhesive residue
Topical note	Notes on removing adhesive residues and foils on paint and metal surfaces with surface conditioning disks	Left and right door sill moldings are no longer required. Use commercially available surface conditioning disk with dia. 100 mm.	AH00.00-P-0013-01AK

7	Release front footrest on passenger side and fold back
8	Remove cover below instrument panel on passenger side

	Check
12	Carry out function check	Front left illuminated door sill molding (E17/47) or front right illuminated door sill molding (E17/48) is switched on by opening corresponding front door. Automatic shutoff takes place after approx. 5 min.

13	Install remaining parts
	Update Vehicle Documentation (VeDoc)
14	Attach note "Illuminated door sill moldings retrofitted as per AZ82.20-P-0005LC " under field organization texts to design group 68 and design group 82.
