Retrofit Front Illuminated Door Sill Molding With Mercedes-Benz Lettering - AZ82.20-P-0005-10LC

Installation is shown on the example of the right-hand side of the vehicle. Installation at the left-hand side of the vehicle takes place in the same way.

The floor covering has been removed here for better illustration of the following operation steps.

1. Clean contact surface of door sill at longitudinal member in hatched area.

2. Remove carrier foil (8) from the right front illuminated door sill molding (E17/48).

   Pay attention to guides (9) during subsequent installation.

3. Position right front illuminated door sill molding (E17/48) on longitudinal member and press on evenly.
4. Connect black 2-pin connector socket of electrical line of right front illuminated door sill molding (E17/48) to black 2-pin plug of branch-off line of right front illuminated door sill molding (E17/48).

   Thus, the front right illuminated door sill molding electrical connector (E17/48x1) is created.

5. Attach right front illuminated door sill molding electrical connector (E17/48x1) to inner longitudinal member using a retaining clip.

   The retaining clip is included in the installation kit.

6. Route electrical line of right front illuminated door sill molding (E17/48) via body flange on longitudinal member and fix in place with adhesive tape (10).
