Secure Vehicle On Vehicle Lift - AR00.60-P-0100CW

	Risk of death  caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform.	Align vehicle between vehicle lift columns and position the four support plates at the vehicle lift support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer.	AS00.00-Z-0010-01A
	Remove
1	Remove screws (2) from vehicle lift support points (1).	Model 204.9, 205, 213, 217, 222, 238, 242, 253 When removing the bolts (2), the expansion clamps for the vehicle lift support points (1) drop down into the longitudinal members.
2	Pry out vehicle lift support points (1) from longitudinal members.	Do not use sharp-edged tools. Otherwise this can result in damage to the longitudinal member. Model 204.9, 205, 213, 217, 222, 238, 242, 253 Remove expansion clamps for the vehicle lift support points (1) from longitudinal members and mount using bolts (2) to vehicle lift support points (1). Screw bolts (2) a few turns only into expansion clamps.
	Install
3	Insert vehicle lift safety devices (01) into longitudinal members.	The vehicle lift safety devices (01) must always be installed in pairs, i.e. at two points on the vehicle's longitudinal members. 4	Swivel levers (01a) of vehicle lift safety devices (01) to the right.	This serves to lock the vehicle lift safety devices (01) onto the longitudinal members.
5	Adjust support plates (4) of vehicle lift support arms (3) to the level of the vehicle lift safety devices (01) or the level of the remaining vehicle lift support points (1).	Turn the support plates (4) until they make contact with the vehicle lift safety devices (01) or the vehicle lift support points (1) of the longitudinal members.

7	Secure vehicle lift safety devices (01) using tensioning straps at the vehicle lift support arms (3).
