	Risk of death  caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off during lifting	Only lift vehicle at the lift support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer.	AS00.00-Z-0032-01A
	Risk of death  caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform.	Align vehicle between vehicle lift columns and position the four support plates at the vehicle lift support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer.	AS00.00-Z-0010-01A
	Risk of accident  caused by vehicle starting off on its own when jacked up. Risk of injury  caused by rotating parts when working on running engine or drive train. 1	Secure vehicle on vehicle lift.	When removing major assemblies (e.g. engine, transmission, axles).	AR00.60-P-0100CW
2	Clip adapters (01) into the vehicle lift support points (1) on the longitudinal members.	When removing underfloor panelings.

3	Adjust support plates (02) of support arms on vehicle lift (03) to vehicle height.	Turn support plates (02) until they make contact with the adapters (01) or vehicle lift support points (1) of the longitudinal members

4	Lift vehicle with lifting platform.
5	Lower vehicle in reverse order.
	Jack up/lower vehicle
6	Lift vehicle with pit hoist or floor jack.	Model 217 Model 222 except code Z07 (Top protection) except code Z19 (Pullman government sedan) except code Z31 (Pullman Guard government sedan) Only position post of pit hoist or floor jack at front axle jack support point (2) or at rear axle differential (3). Otherwise damage to axles, major assemblies or the body may occur.
7	Secure vehicle against tilting and falling down.	Model 217 Model 222 except code Z07 (Top protection) except code Z19 (Pullman government sedan) except code Z31 (Pullman Guard government sedan) Place jack stands under the corresponding vehicle lift support points (1) of the body.
8	Lower vehicle in reverse order.	Model 217 Model 222 except code Z07 (Top protection) except code Z19 (Pullman government sedan) except code Z31 (Pullman Guard government sedan)
