Remove/Install Front SAM Control Unit - AR54.21-P-1254LF

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
1 Connect diagnostic system and run initial startup of front SAM control unit (N10/6) When replacing the front SAM control unit (N10/6).  
REFER TO SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEMS     AD00.00-P-2000-04B
2 Switch off ignition and remove transmitter key    
3 Remove left cover below instrument panel MODEL 217, 222.0/1/9 AR68.10-P-1500LF
4 Unscrew bolt (3)    
5 Release electrical wiring harness (4) and push to side until the front SAM control unit (N10/6) can be removed downward out of the bracket (5) (arrow) INSTALLATION IMPORTANT : Check fasteners for damage and replace, if necessary.  
6 Pull front SAM control unit (N10/6) downward out of bracket (5) until the electrical connection on front SAM control unit (N10/6) can be disconnected    
7 Disconnect all electrical connections on front SAM control unit (N10/6) and remove front SAM control unit (N10/6) out of footwell IMPORTANT The electrical connections are coded and cannot be interchanged.
The number of electrical connectors varies according to vehicle equipment.
 
8 Install in the reverse order
