	Remove/install
1	Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmitter range (min. 2 m).
2	Open armrest (5).
3.1	Remove multimedia connection unit (A90/5).	Model 217, 222 as of model year 2018 with code 448 (Touchpad)	AR82.60-P-1037LF
3.2	Press catch tabs (arrows A), and unclip and remove cover (2) from center console (3).	Model 217, 222 up to model year 2018 with code 448 (Touchpad)
4	Insert a suitable tool into opening (arrow B) of retaining plate (6) and unclip in upward direction.	Model 217, 222 with code 448 (Touchpad) with code 897 (Front wireless telephone charging) Model 217, 222 with code 448 (Touchpad) with code 899 (Front wireless telephone charging and antenna)
5	Release and disconnect electrical connectors of ambient lighting at retaining plate (6).	Model 217, 222 with code 448 (Touchpad) with code 877 (Ambient lighting) Model 217, 222 with code 448 (Touchpad) with code 891 (Premium ambiance illumination)
6	Release and disconnect electrical connectors of mobile phone cradle control unit (N123/8) at retaining plate (6).	Model 217, 222 with code 448 (Touchpad) with code 897 (Front wireless telephone charging) Model 217, 222 with code 448 (Touchpad) with code 899 (Front wireless telephone charging and antenna)
7	Release bolts (1).	Do not unscrew screws/bolts (1) completely.
8	Pull out touchpad (A105) in upward direction until electrical connector (4) is accessible.
9	Release and disconnect electrical connector (4) and remove touchpad (A105).
10	Install in the reverse order.
