| 1 | Remove flacon (2) from glove compartment (1). | Model 217 with code P21 (Air quality package) | |
| 2 | Release and disconnect electrical connectors of telephone control unit (N123/9). | Model 217 with code 380 (Car telephony package) | |
| 3 | Remove bracket (10) with telephone control unit (N123/9). | Model 217 with code 380 (Car telephony package) | |
| 4 | Remove cover below instrument panel at right. | AR68.10-P-1520LF | |
| 5 | Pull off rubber plugs at screws (3) and remove | . | |
| 6 | Unclip cover (4) in glove compartment (1) and remove. | Fig 1 | |
| 7 | Remove screw/bolts (3). | ||
| 8 | Pull out glove compartment (1) from instrument panel basic carrier until electrical connectors (5, 6) can be accessed. | ||
| 9 | Release electrical connections (5) and disconnect. | ||
| 10 | Release and disconnect electrical connector (6). | Model 217 with code P21 (Air quality package) | |
| 11 | Remove hose (7) of glove compartment ventilation. | ||
| 12 | Disconnect hose (8) from fragrance system generator connection (N59). | Model 217 with code P21 (Air quality package) | |
| 13 | Remove glove compartment (1). | ||
| 14 | Install in the reverse order. | ||
| 15 | Perform function test. |
