| 1 | Close soft top | With soft top open. | |
| 2 | Move soft top compartment lid upright | ||
| 3 | Secure soft top compartment lid against falling down | Hydraulic system is depressurized, carefully lay down soft top compartment lid. Otherwise damage can occur. Alway remove suitable tools (B) from holes in hinges (A). Otherwise the soft top compartment can be damaged. |

| 5 | Wait until hydraulic system is unpressurized | ||
| 6 | Cover vehicle in left and right rear area | ||
| 7 | Remove seat cushion | AR91.12-P-1020LF | |
| 8 | Remove seat backrest | AR91.12-P-1620LF | |
| 9 | Detach sidebag unit in rear and lay down to side with electrical line connected | AR91.60-P-0694LF | |
| 10 | Expose hydraulic lines (2, 3) | ||
| 11 | Remove retainer (5) from pin (7) | ||
| 12 | Pull out bolts (7) and unhook cable (6) for side cover | ||
| 13 | Remove retainer (4) from pin (11) | ||
| 14 | Pull out pin (11) | For this purpose push insulating mat (10) slight toward side. |

| 15 | Remove hydraulic cylinder (1) with hydraulic lines (2, 3) connected and lay down to side. | ||
| 16 | Remove locking plates (8) from hydraulic lines (2, 3) | ||
| 17 | Pull hydraulic lines (2, 3) out of hydraulic cylinder (1) | ||
| 18 | Catch hydraulic oil running out with suitable aid. | ||
| 19 | Replace sealing rings (9) on hydraulic lines (2, 3) | ||
