| 1 | Connect battery charger | AR54.10-P-1127LF | |
| 2 | Remove paneling from soft top at front | AR68.30-P-4320LCA | |
| 3 | Move soft top into intermediate position and secure | AR77.30-P-1030-01LCA | |
| 4 | Carefully knock off left and right rivet (2) | ||
| 5 | Unhook edge stripping (3) from hook (4) | ||
| 6 | Lay soft top down on windshield frame toward front by hand | ||
| 7 | Remove blind rivet on front retaining strip on headliner (5) and remove front retaining strip on headliner (5) | ||
| 8 | Remove blind rivet on center retaining strip on headliner (6) and remove center retaining strip on headliner (6) | ||
| 9 | Unlock electrical connector on rear compartment lamp and disconnect | ||
| 10 | Remove front left and front right tension cable on headliner (1) from soft top mechanism | AR68.30-P-4300-20LCA | |
| 11 | Remove blind rivet on rear retaining strip on headliner (9) and remove rear retaining strip on headliner (9) | ||
| 12 | Open zipper (10) on rear retaining strip on headliner (9) | Fig 1 | |

| 14 | Move soft top bow to intermediate position and secure | AR77.30-P-1030-01LCA | |
| 15 | Detach retainer profile (11) on headliner (1) from soft top bow | ||
| 16 | Detach retainer profile (12) on headliner (1) from rear window frame | ||
| 17 | Open zipper (14) above rear window and remove headliner (1) | Fig 1 | |
| 18 | Install in the reverse order |
