	Remove
1	Commission electropneumatic controller unit (8).	If the electropneumatic controller unit (8) is to be replaced.
			AD00.00-P-2000-06FR
2	Completely release the pneumatic pressure of the air suspension using the diagnostic system.

3	Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmitter range (min. 2 m).
4	Remove left front wheel.		AR40.10-P-1102A
5	Remove front section of fender liner in front left fender.	Model 223 Model 223.0/1	AR88.10-P-1301S
6	Release electrical connector (1) and disconnect.
7	Unclip electric line (2) from holder (3).
8	Release lines (4) on connection fittings and detach.	Do not remove the connection fittings from the electropneumatic controller unit (8).
9	Unclip lines (4) from holder (5).
10	Mark compressed-air lines (6).
11	Remove compressed-air lines (6) and seal exposed openings with suitable stop plugs.	Box wrench bit	Fig 2

12	Remove nuts (7) and remove electropneumatic controller unit (8) from holder (5) in downward direction.
	Check
13	Check elastomer bearings of electropneumatic controller unit (8) for damage and wear.	If there is a problem, ↓ replace elastomer bearing.	AR32.22-P-0016S
	Install
14	Position electropneumatic controller unit (8) on holder (5) and attach nuts (7).	Nut, electropneumatic controller unit to holder	*BA32.22-P-1012-03F
15	Attach compressed-air lines (6).	Observe markings on compressed-air lines (6). Pressure line to air compressor/valve block	*BA32.22-P-1006-03F

16	Connect electrical connector (1) and clip electric line (2) into holder (5).
17	Clip lines (4) into holder (5).
18	Attach lines (4) to connection fittings.
19	Build up the pneumatic pressure of the air suspension using the diagnostic system.

	Check
20	Check connections of compressed-air lines (6) on electropneumatic controller unit (8) for leak tightness.		AR32.22-P-8000S
21	Install front section of fender liner into front left fender.	Model 223 Model 223.0/1	AR88.10-P-1301S
22	Attach front left wheel and tire assembly.		AR40.10-P-1102A
