| 2 | Use suitable tool to pry out radial shaft sealing ring (32a) from rear axle differential (50). | Do not damage seat surface of radial shaft sealing ring (32a) in rear axle differential (50). Leakage will otherwise occur. |

| 4 | Check seat surface of radial shaft sealing ring (32a) in rear axle differential (50) for damage. | If damage is found, ↓ Replace rear axle differential (50). Model 223 with engine 176, 256, 279, 656 with code Z07 (B7 armoring on special protection version) |
