Check oil level at room temperature only and not when the rear axle differential (50) is at operating temperature.
Otherwise, required oil will escape when the rear axle differential (50) is warm.
Cleaning
- Clean area around oil filler screw (50 g).
- Remove oil filler screw (50 g).
Replace oil filler screw (50 g).
Check
- Check and correct oil level.
With the correct oil level the oil reaches up to the bottom edge of the threaded hole.
If necessary add oil or drain off oil until the oil only drips out of the threaded hole.
Cleaning
- Clean threaded hole in rear axle differential (50) with cleaning spray.
The oil filler screw (50g) and tapped hole must be free from oil and grease.
- Apply one drop of to lower third of thread of oil filler screw (50g).
- Screw oil filler screw (50g) into rear axle differential (50) immediately
