	Remove/install
1	Remove hub cover (1) at wheel hub.	If the hub cover (1) cannot be removed: ↓ Remove front wheel, remove hub cover (1) and reattach front wheel.	AR40.10-P-1102A
2	Loosen nut of front axle shaft at wheel hub.	The vehicle must be standing on its front wheels for this. Nut, front axle shaft to wheel hub	*BA33.30-P-1002-02K
3	Remove corresponding front wheel.		AR40.10-P-1102A
4	Remove nut of front axle shaft at wheel hub.	: Replace nut. Tighten nut slightly by hand.
5	Reduce pneumatic pressure of suspension struts using diagnostic system.
		The complete wheels must not touch the ground. Otherwise the suspension struts may suffer initial damage and malfunction at a later stage.	AD00.00-P-2000-06FR
6	Remove brake disk.		AR42.10-P-0230S
7	Remove brake cover plate (2).	Bolt brake cover plate on steering knuckle	*BA42.10-P-1002-06I
8	Disconnect electrical connector from rotational speed sensor and remove rotational speed sensor.	Bolt, rpm sensor to steering knuckle	*BA42.30-P-1001-01K
9	Remove line bracket (3) from steering knuckle (4) and hang to one side with electric lines.	Bolt, cable holder to steering knuckle	*BA42.30-P-1002-01K
10	Remove tie rod joint from steering knuckle (4).		AR46.40-P-0211S
11	Remove tension strut from steering knuckle (4).		AR33.15-P-0160SG
12	Remove upper transverse control arm from steering knuckle (4).	The ball head must be counterheld and an impact wrench/driver must not be used. Otherwise the ball head or steering knuckle (4) will be damaged. Nut, steering knuckle to transverse control arm	*BA33.20-P-1006-01T
13	Detach torsion bar linkage from steering knuckle (4).	Nut, torsion bar linkage to steering knuckle	*BA32.20-P-1002-02O
14	Remove spring link from steering knuckle (4).		AR33.15-P-0170SG
15	Remove steering knuckle (4).
16	Install a new wheel bearing into steering knuckle (4).	If steering knuckle (4) is replaced.	AR33.20-P-0302SG
17	Install in the reverse order
