	Remove/install
1	Remove rear left or right side trim.	Model 223 with code 293 (Side airbag in rear left and right) except code 223 (Electric backrest adjustment and head restraints) except code 224 (Rear individual seat design)	AR68.30-P-4780S
		Model 223 with code 223 (Electric backrest adjustment and head restraints) with code 224 (Rear individual seat design) with code 293 (Side airbag in rear left and right) Model 223 with code 223 (Electric backrest adjustment and head restraints) with code 293 (Side airbag in rear left and right) except code 224 (Rear individual seat design)	AR68.30-P-4780SA
2	Unclip WLAN antenna in rear passenger compartment with holder and place to one side with electrical connector attached. 3	Lift damping and place to one side.
4	Disconnect ground line of battery of 12 V on-board electrical system.		AR54.10-P-0051S
5	Release and disconnect electrical connector (2) of rear passenger compartment side airbag (1).	Removal lever	Fig 2
6	Remove screw/bolts (3).	Bolt/nut for rear side airbag unit to body	*BA91.60-P-1005-01I
7	Remove rear passenger compartment side airbag (1).
8	Install in the reverse order.
	Check
9	Check Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) with diagnostic device.
