Remove/Install Front Seat - AR91.10-P-1000S

	Remove/install
1	Move head restraint down.
2	Move steering column forward and all the way up.	When removing front seat (1) on driver's side.
3	Move front seat (1) forward and all the way up.
4	Unclip covers of rear screws (3) from covers (4).
5	Remove screws (3) from rear guide rails.	Bolt, front seat to vehicle floor	*BA91.10-P-1001-01S
6	Move front seat (1) to the rear and all the way down.
7	Unclip and remove trim (2).
8	Remove seat belt end fitting.		AR91.40-P-1030-02SA

9	Unclip covers of front screws (3) from covers (4).
10	Remove front screws (3).	Bolt, front seat to vehicle floor	*BA91.10-P-1001-01S
11	Disconnect ground line of battery of 12 V onboard electrical system.		AR54.10-P-0051S
12	Tilt back front seat (1).	Ensure that lock pins of guide rails in vehicle floor are seated correctly.
13	Disconnect pneumatic line from underside of front seat (1).	Model 223 with code 432 (Dynamic seats left and right)
14	Disconnect electrical connectors (5).	The number of electrical connectors (5) depends on the vehicle equipment.
15	Cover up center console, door sill and door sill.

16	Remove front seat (1) from vehicle.	Carefully remove front seat (1) from vehicle. Otherwise vehicle components may be damaged.
		Helper required.
17	Put down front seat (1) and secure it against falling over.
18	Install in the reverse order.
