Remove/Install Battery Of 12 V On-Board Electrical System - AR54.10-P-1134SA

	Risk of fire  /risk of explosion due to short circuit and escaping oxyhydrogen gas. Risk of (burn) injury caused by caustic burns to eyes, skin and mucous membranes from battery electrolyte/mist, short circuit and arcing. Risk of poisoning  caused by swallowing battery electrolyte or absorption of lead through the skin or body orifices. Risk of death  due to voltage U >= 30 V AC and U >= 60 V DC.	No fires, sparks, open flames, or smoking. Wear acid-resistant gloves, clothing, and glasses. Pour battery acid only into suitable and appropriately marked containers.	AS54.10-Z-0001-01A

	Remove/install
1	Disconnect ground line (1) from on-board electrical system battery (G1).		AR54.10-P-0051S
2	Remove center strut above on-board electrical system battery (G1).	Screw, center strut to longitudinal member mounting console	*BA62.30-P-1009-02P
		Screw, center/lower strut to suspension strut tower mounting console	*BA62.30-P-1008-02P
3	Remove cover over positive line (2).
4	Disconnect positive line (2) and place to one side with current limiter.	Nut, charging cable to negative terminal/positive terminal of on-board electrical system battery	*BA54.10-P-1008-01N
5	Disconnect vent hose from on-board electrical system battery (G1).	Make sure that the vent hose is correctly seated. Otherwise leaking battery vapor may damage the vehicle.
6	Remove screw (3) and release holder (4).	Bolt, battery frame to body	*BA54.10-P-1006-01N
7	Remove on-board electrical system battery (G1).
8	Install in the reverse order.
9	Confirm on-board electrical system battery (G1) has been changed in electronic ignition lock control unit using diagnostic system.	When replacing the on-board electrical system battery (G1).
		This updates the charging characteristic for the on-board electrical system battery (G1).	AD00.00-P-2000-06FR
