	Remove/install
1	Remove driver's side cover under instrument panel.	Model 447.6/7 with code LC7 (Front footwell illumination), model 447.8, 448	AR68.10-S-1500E
2	Unhook driver's side air duct segment in footwell from instrument panel.	Model 447 except code ME0 (Electric motor 85 kW), model 448 Do not completely remove air duct segment.
3	Push insulation mat (20) slightly to one side in area of interior temperature sensor (1).	Model 447.8, 448.8 except code XM7 (Facelift II)
4	Remove interior temperature sensor (1).	To do so, turn interior temperature sensor (1) by approx. 45° in direction of arrow.
5	Remove interior temperature sensor (1).	To do so, release and disconnect electrical connector.
6	Install in the reverse order.
	Check
7	Run function test of air conditioning system.
