	Remove/install
1	Remove cover under instrument panel on driver's side.	Model 447.6/7 with code LC7 (Illumination for front footwell) Model 447.8, 448	AR68.10-S-1500E
2	Unhook footwell air duct segment on driver's side.	Model 447.8, 448 Do not remove air duct segment.
3	Release lock (1) as shown.	Model 447.8, 448 except code XM7 (MOPF II) Long wedge	Fig 1
4.1	Remove light switch (S1, S1/2) from retaining frame (3).	Model 447, 448 except code XM7 (MOPF II) To do so, release the locks (2).
4.2	Remove light switch (S1/2) from trim (4).	Model 447, 448 with code XM7 (MOPF II) To do so, release the locks (2).
5	Remove light switch (S1, S1/2).	To do so, release and disconnect electrical connector.
6	Install in the reverse order.
	Check
7	Perform function test on light switch (S1, S1/2).
