	Warning Injury hazard from pinching and crushing, in extreme cases extremities can even be cut off when caught in windshield wiper mechanism.	When working on the windshield wiper mechanism, always switch off the ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmission range (at least 2 m).	AS82.30-Z-0001-01A
	Remove
1	Switch off ignition and remove transmitter key.
2.1	Remove cover over nut (4).	Model 447 with code W65 (Tailgate) with code W78 (Window in tailgate or hinged rear door with wipe/wash system) except code W50 (Rear-end door, double-wing, 180 degrees without window) except code W54 (2-wing rear-end door, 270 degrees) Model 448.8 with code W68 (EASY-PACK-tailgate) Model 448 with code W65 (Tailgate)
2.2	Remove screw (2) and remove cover (3).	Model 447 with code W64 (Separately opening rear window) except code W50 (Rear-end door, double-wing, 180 degrees without window) except code W54 (2-wing rear-end door, 270 degrees) Model 448.8 with code W64 (Separately opening rear window)
3	Unscrew nut (4).
4	Remove rear window wiper (1).	Puller	Fig 1
	Install
5	Move wiper motor to park position.		AR82.30-S-6800-01E
6	Switch off ignition and remove transmitter key.
7	Align and mount rear window wiper (1) in horizontal position.
8	Tighten nut (4).	Nut, rear wiper arm to wiper motor shaft	*BA82.30-Z-1006-01KOJ
9.1	Install cover above nut (4).	Model 447 with code W65 (Tailgate) with code W78 (Window in tailgate or hinged rear door with wipe/wash system) except code W50 (Rear-end door, double-wing, 180 degrees without window) except code W54 (2-wing rear-end door, 270 degrees) Model 448.8 with code W68 (EASY-PACK-tailgate) Model 448 with code W65 (Tailgate)
9.2	Install cover (3) and tighten with screw (2).	Model 447 with code W64 (Separately opening rear window) except code W50 (Rear-end door, double-wing, 180 degrees without window) except code W54 (2-wing rear-end door, 270 degrees) Model 448.8 with code W64 (Separately opening rear window)
	Check
10	Perform function check of rear window wiper (1).
