	Injury hazard from pinching and crushing, in extreme cases extremities can even be cut off when caught in windshield wiper mechanism.	When working on the windshield wiper mechanism, always switch off the ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmission range (at least 2 m).	AS82.30-Z-0001-01A
	Risk of fire and explosion  caused by ignition of window washing fluid or antifreeze and their vapors. Risk of poisoning  caused by swallowing window washing fluid or antifreeze or inhaling their vapors. Risk of injury  or physical irritations caused by contact of window washing fluid or antifreeze with eyes, mucous membranes or skin.	Wear protective clothing and tight-fitting safety glasses. No open flames, fire or ignition sources. Avoid contact with eyes, mucous membranes and skin. When working with window washing fluids or antifreeze, do not eat, drink, or smoke. Do not inhale vapors and ensure sufficient ventilation in the working area. Store window washing fluid and antifreeze leakfree in safely closed original containers and out of the reach of children. 	Check windshield wiper
1	Check condition of wiper blade rubber pieces (1) on windshield and rear window	If wiper blade rubber piece damaged (1) ↓ Replace the wiper rubbers (1), subject to separate repair order.
2	Check windshield wipers at all switch positions	To do so, switch the windshield wiper switch (2) to each wiper speed. If defective ↓ Determine reason and rectify subject to separate repair order.
3	Check rear window wiper	With CODE W78 (Window in liftgate or hinged rear door with wiper and washer system) To do so, operate the rear window wiper switch (3). If defective ↓ Determine reason and rectify subject to separate repair order.
	Check windshield washer system
4	Check windshield washer system for proper operation	To do so, move combination switch (4) in direction of arrow (A). The windshield washer fluid pump and windshield wiper must switch on at the same time. If defective ↓ Determine reason and rectify subject to separate repair order.
5	Check spray nozzles and spray pattern of windshield washer system	To do so, move combination switch (4) in direction of arrow (A) The washer fluid must not spray over the roof or beyond the sides of the vehicle. Depending on findings ↓ Correct spray pattern by adjusting spray nozzles at respective setting screw (5), see graphic.
6	Check windshield washer system on rear window	With CODE W78 (Window in liftgate or hinged rear door with wiper and washer system) To do so, operate the rear window wiper switch (3). The windshield washer fluid pump and windshield wiper must switch on at the same time. If defective ↓ Determine reason and rectify subject to separate repair order.
7	Check spray nozzles and spray pattern of windshield washer system on rear window	With CODE W78 (Window in liftgate or hinged rear door with wiper and washer system) To do so, operate the rear window wiper switch (3) The washer fluid must not spray over the roof or beyond the sides of the vehicle Depending on findings ↓ Correct spray pattern by adjusting spray nozzles.
