The circuit 15 ON status is sent by the electronic ignition lock (EZS) control unit (N73) via the interior CAN (CAN B) to the parameterizable special module (PSM) control unit (N26/16).
Two-way radio hands-free system function, general
The two-way radio hands-free system allows the driver to communicate with the dispatch via the taxi two-way radio (A49). Active audio sources are automatically muted during the two-way radio call.
Function sequence for two-way radio hands-free system
The taxi two-way radio is switched into transmission mode by pressing the two-way radio cut-in button (N74s5). The two-way radio cut-in button must remain pressed while speaking. The speech is recorded by the taxi two-way radio microphone (B25/10). As soon as the two-way radio cut-in button is released, it is possible to receive the voice output from the other party. This is output over the taxi two-way radio speaker (H6).
The parameterizable special module (PSM) control unit reads in the request of the two-way radio cut-in button via driver assistance system control panel control unit (N74), roof LIN (LIN B13), signal acquisition and actuation module (SAM) control unit (N10/1) and interior CAN, evaluates the signal and sends it via CIA CAN (CAN CIA) to the taxi two-way radio. The taxi two-way radio forwards the signal via a direct line to the radio frequency roof antenna (A2/50). The voice output is now sent to the other party via the two-way radio roof antenna. Incoming radio signals are received by the radio frequency roof antenna and forwarded to the taxi two-way radio, from where they are sent via direct line to the taxi two-way radio speaker.
The parameterizable special module (PSM) control unit acts as a gateway between the interior CAN and the taxi components.
