General 

The brake and traction system assists the driver in suddenly occurring dangerous situations and thus ensures active safety. It includes various subsystems that have a checking, optimizing or regulating function.

Function requirements

Function 

To detect suddenly occurring dangerous situations, the brake and traction system captures the current driving situation. For this purpose, the following signals are captured:

• Left front axle wheel speed
• Right front axle wheel speed
• Left rear axle wheel speed
• Right rear axle wheel speed
• Steering angle
• Stop lamp switch
• Brake pressure
