	Remove
1	Open right rear-end door (2)
2	Remove inner paneling from window frame on right rear-end door (2)	MODEL 447.7 with CODE V23 (Interior trim, luxury equipment) except CODE ZU7 (National version, Canada) and except CODE ZU8 (National version USA), MODEL 447.7 with CODE VK7 (Rear-end door/liftgate paneling, luxury equipment)	AR72.20-S-6630E
3	Mark installation position of inner lock (1)
4	Loosen door lock (3) on right rear-end door (2)	Detach door lock (3) to remove inner door lock (1).	AR72.20-S-4055E
5	Expose electrical connector (4) and disconnect
6	Expose electrical wiring harness for inner door lock (1) on right rear-end door (2)
7	Remove screws (5)
8	Pull inner lock (1) upward and remove cable (6)
9	Guide inner lock (1) with electrical wiring harness upward out of right rear-end door (2) and remove
10	Remove rotary tumbler switch from inner lock (1)	When replacing rotary tumbler switch or inner lock (1).
	Install
11	Install rotary tumbler on inner lock (1)	If rotary tumbler switch or inner lock (1) is replaced.
12	Insert inner lock (1) with electrical wiring harness into right rear-end door (2) and install cable (6)
13	Tighten inner lock (1) with screws (5)	Observe markings.
14	Connect electrical connector (4) and fasten electrical wiring harness
15	Install door lock (3) on right rear-end door (2)	Reinstall door paneling only after checking whether inner lock (1) is seated correctly in lock striker.	AR72.20-S-4055E
16	Remove inner paneling from window frame on right rear-end door (2)	MODEL 447.7 with CODE V23 (Interior trim, luxury equipment) except CODE ZU7 (National version, Canada) and except CODE ZU8 (National version USA), MODEL 447.7 with CODE VK7 (Rear-end door/liftgate paneling, luxury equipment)	AR72.20-S-6630E
	Check
17	Close rotary tumbler (7) on inner lock (1) with suitable tool
18	Actuate outer door handle or inside door handle and ensure that inner lock (1) opens and arrests correctly
19	Check whether inner lock (1) is seated correctly in lock striker and tighten screws (5)	If it is necessary to correct the seat of the inner lock (1) in the lock striker: ↓ Adjust inner lock (1) in relation to lock striker. Bolt, inner lock to rear-end door	*BA72.20-Z-1012-01KOJ
