	Risk of injury  caused by irritation of the skin, eyes and respiratory system through contact or inhalation of substances contained in the mirror lens.	Wear protective gloves and safety glasses.	AS60.00-Z-0008-01R
	Remove/install
1	Unclip mirror glass (1) at upper side
2.1	Remove mirror glass (1)	Model 447.6/7 except code F68 (Exterior mirrors, electrically. adjustable and heated) except code F72 (Automatically dimming outside and inside rearview mirrors) except code JA7 (Blind Spot Monitoring) Model 447.8, 448 except code F72 (Automatically dimming outside and inside rearview mirrors) except code JA7 (Blind Spot Monitoring) Carefully clip mirror glass (1) in and out. Otherwise the mirror glass (1) can be damaged. For this purpose, position assembly wedge at top on mirror glass (1) (arrow). Mounting wedge	Fig 1
2.2	Remove mirror glass (1) from adjustment motor	Model 447, 448.8 with code F72 (Automatically dimming outside and inside rearview mirrors) Model 447, 448 with code F68 (Exterior mirrors, electrically. adjustable and heated) Model 447.8, 448.8 with code JA7 (Blind Spot Monitoring) Carefully clip mirror glass (1) in and out. Otherwise the mirror glass (1) can be damaged. For this purpose, position assembly wedge at top on mirror glass (1) (arrow). Mounting wedge	Fig 1
3	Disconnect electrical connectors (2) from mirror glass (1)	Model 447, 448 with code F68 (Exterior mirrors, electrically. adjustable and heated)
4	Disconnect electrical connector (3) from mirror glass (1)	Model 447, 448.8 with code F72 (Automatically dimming outside and inside rearview mirrors) Model 447.8, 448.8 with code JA7 (Blind Spot Monitoring)
5	Remove Blind Spot Assist warning lamp (4)	Model 447.8, 448.8 with code JA7 (Blind Spot Monitoring) When replacing mirror glass (1). To do so, disconnect electrical connection.
6	Install in the reverse order
	Clean
7	Clean mirror glass (1)
	Check
8	Check all electrical functions of mirror glass (1) for proper function	The extent of electrical functions varies depending on the vehicle equipment.
	Inform
9	Print out certificate for customer	Model 447 with code ZU7 (National version for Canada) Model 447 with code ZU8 (National version for USA) When replacing mirror glass (1).
