When converting from a flat mirror glass (without labeling) to aspherically curved mirror glass (labeled with "OBJECTS IN MIRROR ARE CLOSER THAN THEY APPEAR") the customer must be notified of the altered optical properties of the mirror glass.
WARNING:
The outside mirrors downsize images. Visible objects are therefore closer than they appear to be. This in turn means that you may judge the distance to road users traveling behind you wrongly, e.g. when lane changing.
