Remove/Install Left Bottom Rear-End Door Inner Lock - AR72.40-S-4436E

	Remove
1	Remove inner lock (2) from left rear-end door (3)	Detach inner lock (2) to remove inner lock (1). Do not remove cables from inner lock (2).	AR72.20-S-4844E
2	Mark installation position of inner lock (1)
3	Expose electrical connector (4) and disconnect
4	Expose electrical wiring harness for inner lock (1) front left rear-end door (3)
5	Remove screws (5)
6	Pull inner lock (1) downward and remove cable (6) from inner lock (1)
7	Guide inner lock (1) together with electrical wiring harness downward out of left rear-end door (3) and remove
8	Remove rotary tumbler switch from inner lock (1)	When replacing rotary tumbler switch or inner lock (1).
	Install
9	Install rotary tumbler on inner lock (1)	If rotary tumbler switch or inner lock (1) is replaced.
10	Insert inner lock (1) with electrical wiring harness into left rear-end door (3) and install cable (6)
11	Tighten inner lock (1) with screws (5)	Observe markings.
12	Connect electrical connector (4) and fasten electrical wiring harness
13	Install inner lock (2) on left rear-end door (3)	Reinstall door paneling only after checking whether inner lock (1) is seated correctly in lock striker.	AR72.20-S-4844E
	Check
14	Close rotary tumbler (7) on inner lock (1) with suitable tool
15	Actuate inner lock (2) and check whether inner lock (1) opens and arrests correctly
16	Check whether inner lock (1) is seated correctly in lock striker and tighten screws (5)	If it is necessary to correct the seat of the inner lock (1) in the lock striker: ↓ Adjust inner lock (1) in relation to lock striker. Bolt, inner lock to rear-end door	*BA72.20-Z-1012-01KOJ
