	Remove
1	Remove corresponding battery	Remove on-board electrical system battery (G1)	AR54.10-S-0005E
		Remove the auxiliary battery Model 447 with code E28 (Additional battery for retrofitted consumers) Model 447 with code EE8 (Battery 12V 100 Ah)	AR54.10-S-0007E
2	Remove filling screws (1)
	Check
3	Check battery fluid level of individual battery cells	The battery fluid level is correct, when the battery acid is level with the maximum mark (arrow) in the filler opening. If the battery fluid level is too low. ↓ Correct battery fluid level. Use only distilled water for topping up. Do not fill above the max. mark (arrow).

4	Tighten filling screws (1)
