REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install
1 Completely release the pneumatic pressure of the air suspension using the diagnostic system. INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Build up the pneumatic pressure of the air suspension externally using the diagnostic system. AR32.22-P-0013ME
2 Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmitter range (min. 2 m).
3 Remove right rear fender liner.   AR88.10-P-1302ME
4 Remove cover (2). INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Only install cover (2) after the leak test.
5 Detach pneumatic pressure line (3) at left and right from central reservoir (1) and seal openings using suitable stop plugs. NOTES Do not stretch, crush or kink pneumatic pressure lines (3).
This will result in damage to pneumatic pressure lines (3) and can impair their function.
NOTES The thread on the connection of the respective pneumatic pressure lines (3) and the pneumatic pressure lines (3) themselves must not be damaged.
Otherwise, leaks will occur.
