REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install
1 Remove right or left rear wheel and tire assembly.   AR40.10-P-1102ME
2 Transfer the pneumatic pressure of air suspension bellows (3) into the central reservoir using the diagnostic system.
REFER TO SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEMS   NOTES The complete wheels must not touch the ground.
Otherwise air suspension bellows (3) may suffer initial damage and malfunction at a later stage.
AD00.00-P-2000-06ME
IMPORTANT Select menu item "Actuations" in active suspension and damping system control unit.
INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Transfer pneumatic pressure out of the central reservoir into air suspension bellows (3) using the diagnostic system.
3 Remove trim (1) from transverse control arm.
4 Detach level sensor linkage from transverse control arm.   AR82.10-P-0005ME
5 Detach pneumatic pressure line from air suspension bellows (3) and seal exposed openings with suitable stop plugs. TORQUE SPECIFICATION Air suspension pressure line to rear air suspension bellows *BA32.22-P-1001-03B
