Remove/Install Front Axle Differential Propeller Shaft - AR41.10-P-0070MSC

	Remove/install
1	Remove rear engine crossmember.	Model 167 with engine 177	AR22.10-P-4360MNP
		Model 167 with engine 264	AR22.10-P-4360MRK
		Model 167 with engine 274.9
		Model 167 with engine 256.9	AR22.10-P-4360MSC
		Model 167 with engine 176	AR22.10-P-4360MNO
2	Mark position of propeller shaft (3) relative flange (3f) of front axle differential and to flange of transfer case.	To be able to reproduce the original position when installing components.
3	Remove propeller shaft (3) from front axle differential and transfer case.	Tightening procedure for front propeller shaft	AR41.10-P-0070-03OID
Notice	Notes on threaded connections fastened using a tightening angle-based tightening process		AH00.00-P-0020-01A
		Observe tightening procedure. Otherwise vibrations and noise can occur. Aid of helper required.
		Self-locking bolt, drive shaft to transfer case (to front axle)	*BA41.10-P-1003-01F
		Self-locking bolt, drive shaft to front axle gear	*BA41.10-P-1004-01F
		Retainer wrench	Fig 1
4	Remove propeller shaft (3) in downward direction.	Make sure that the propeller shaft (3) is installed in the correct direction and at the correct position.
	Check
5	Check ball joints and boots of propeller shaft (3).	Check ball joints for wear and check boots for damage, leak tightness and correct seating; replace propeller shaft (3) if necessary.
6	Install in the reverse order.
