It is not permissible to replace the following components of the front passenger seat individually:
A repair can only be carried out through complete installation of a service kit (consisting of seat cushion cover, seat cushion padding and sensor mat (1)). This is a closed safety system that has been calibrated in advance. |

| 2 | Remove retaining clips (2). | ||
| 3 | Place sensor mat (1) to one side. | ||
| 4 | Remove bolt (3). | ||
| 5 | Unclip hose (4) from seat frame base. | ||
| 6 | Guide sensor mat (1) with Weight Sensing System (WSS) control unit (N110) through the seat frame base. | Note routing of hose (4) between sensor mat (1) and the Weight Sensing System (WSS) control unit (N110). Malfunctions can occur otherwise. |

| 7 | Disconnect electrical connector (5). | ||
| 8 | Remove sensor mat (1) with Weight Sensing System (WSS) control unit (N110). | ||
| 9 | Install in the reverse order. | ||
| Initial startup | |||
| 10 | Carry out commissioning of Weight Sensing System (WSS). | ||
