	Remove/install
1	Remove front seat.		AR91.10-P-1000FR
2	Remove outer trims at seat frame.		AR91.10-P-1201FR
3	Remove inner trims at seat frame.		AR91.10-P-1202FR
4	Expose electric lines (5) of seat cushion padding (1) and disconnect their electrical connectors (4). 		The number of electrical connectors (4) and electric lines (5) varies depending on the vehicle equipment involved.
		Secure electrical lines (5) onto seat adjustment unit so that it is possible to adjust the front seat without any restrictions.
5	Expose and disconnect pneumatic line (6) of seat cushion padding (1). 6	Unhook left rear passenger compartment footwell lamp (E17/17) or right rear passenger compartment footwell lamp (E17/18) from seat adjustment unit and hang to one side with connected electric line.

9	Remove seat cushion padding (1).
10	Remove seat ventilation motors. 		It is not permissible to replace the following components of the front passenger seat individually: Seat cushion cover Seat cushion padding (1) Sensor mat A repair can only be carried out through complete installation of a service kit (consisting of seat cushion cover, seat cushion padding (1), and sensor mat).
		This is a closed safety system that has been calibrated in advance.
11.2	Remove seat occupancy recognition.
